This little project about sound and experiment with Senil was an amazing opportunity to work under extreme time pressure but still enjoy all the creative freedom. Last but not least. Maddie Willams. We chose her because she is the most experimental one out of all new Designers from Fashion Scout. I was hoping that this project and especially the collaboration with Talia, Chiara and Antoine will help me being more experimental and also working in 3D. So far it's going great, the past days we've been finalising our concept " engulfing blindness ", inspired by a overconsumption in all categories and also the literal process of becoming blind. PALACE / A Better PLACE

Concept board Palace  Even though Palace is a well established brand they still have the freedom of expressing themselves creatively in different ways and explore new things, such as their customer. Their last campaign was shoot by Jürgen Teller who is probably the most famous German fashion photographer. He already collaborated with every big name like Vivienne Westwood, Helmut Lang, Celine or Burberry's last campaign. Most of the time he's shooting women campaigns so it's interesting to to see another approach in his work for palace. The environment of the shooting very much reminded me of the German countryside, where Teller also grew up. By using this very personal setting the images become really vivid and couldn't portray the brands ethos any better.  Christiane F. STAGE DELEGATION

Through brainstorming, trend forecasting and research we created the concept "STAGE DELEGATION". It's about current political trends, since Trump is president of the USA the white house turned into a soft version of big brother. It's difficult to difference between professionally and entertainment.  This bizarre world inspired us to create a Look that combines professionally and entertainment. In Germany you say "schwimmen" w hich means swimming when a government or delegation is unstable, which led us to the idea to use swimwear fabrics within the Design.

INDUSTRY PROJECT : Shop Reports

Today we went to Selfridges and Mayfair to visit various shops, like our group's brand: BALENCIAGA. It was interesting to see how different the shops are, noticeable was the unique sales staff and the concept of experience and space.

The whole shooting was inspired by the new generation and the unique Berlin club culture.  The new generation creates their own family, with people from different backgrounds and age groups. It’s not about going to a club, but the “afterhour” when one actually spends time with the “new family”.  The brand creates a sense of belonging to something, which I tried to express within the whole concept for my project.  Being with people with diverse background changes your perspectives and more importantly perceptions. Things you might have never noticed before become important now.  This shooting was a mixture between capturing the bizarreness of living a parallel life within the club culture and the intimacy  between friends.
