Jahnkoy x Puma: The Displaced

This was the first "proper" week. Even though the previous briefing was super exciting, Jahnkoy is so versatile that I can't remember ever learning so much in such a short time. 

You don't realize that you are constantly learning something, everything is done intently, so you automatically use what you've learned.

Maria Kazakova inspires me because she embeds deeper and more fundamental themes into fashion. Through the use of unconventional clothing materials, she constantly questions the consumerism culture and racial inequality issue in today’s fashion industry.

The collaboration with Teeth magazine first seemed impossible. It took me a while to capture the spirit of Jahnkoy and not just to copy the idea, but create something new. The most beautiful thing was having a vision at the end of my sketchbook, everything made sense. Even if you feel that you have to learn everything new at the beginning of every project, it feels so much the better in the end.
