Stillleben Gluttony

A still life shoot based on the idea of excess and and rebellion. 

This is the final version of my first still life magazine, it was my aim to display remains of an excess. Today everything is so fast paced that is almost feels like there is no room for ecstasy, you can't just let yourself go. Between banker, renaissance professors and art students didn't seem too much in common but why do we all need to have something in common in order to get a long? Since online dating is like designing your own kitchen at IKEA we became really selective and less open towards coincidences. But it's usually the unexpected that makes us rethink and brings us forwards. 

Cleaning up the aftermath the next morning, in such a therapeutic silence, drawn by the sunrise made this filthy ruin look like a renaissance painting, so smooth and fragile.
