This week almost made me resist physically. Left the 'I-want-to-become-a-fashion-designer-period' behind when I was 15. When you think about the fashion industry, you immediately see the Vogue, Icons of the 90s and lean delusional. I could've never imagined that the already fast-moving industry would expand by at least 50% in the short time I had given it the back.  Monday was by far the toughest day so far, but I loved it. To this day, I was not quite sure what fashion promotion involved. The change in the fashion industry towards fine art is incredibly fascinating and exciting, you cannot help but feel the need to become a part of it.  Iiu Susiraja, 2016

"COCA"

Back home people think that if you want to become an artist you only need to have a 'talent' and the rest will just follow. The first week at Ravensbourne demonstrated the opposite. Everyone can be creative, but not everyone will make it in this industry. How do we attract attention? Is there a principle? Obviously it's relative, for me it's human interaction. Oddity, alike profanity. Everything will excite someone, so how can you excite attention intuitionally? For humans it might be the smell, something similar to oneself. But how is it with materialistic things, places and art? Especially architecture, iconic buildings and places make people travel the world since Eva has yield to a temptation. Is it the recovery of home, our paradise? Or the unknown that keeps us moving? 

My auntie used to say "scandalize" wherever you go. First I thought it's brilliant. Now I know it's revolutionary. If you want a change, you need to make one. People will be horrified; but at least it causes a reaction.         An action. And perhaps an reaction. "It's hard to start a revolution. Even harder to continue it. And hardest of all to win it.
